One of the biggest reasons not to purchase a 3D television right now is that there's nothing to watch on it.  Sure, ESPN 3D is on the way, and some sets to the 2D to 3D conversion, but there's nothing out right now that's made for 3D.

Panasonic's new offer doesn't entirely change that, but it does make the light at the end of the tunnel a little brighter.  If you purchase a VT25 television between now and July 16th, you'll be getting the 3D Blu-ray versions of 'Coraline' and 'Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs' as well.

The Blu-ray redemption is done through a mail-in rebate style process. When you buy your VT25, you'll have to cut out the barcode and send it into Panasonic, who will deliver your 3D Blu-ray discs in 8 to 12 weeks.  For whatever reason, this offer doesn't apply to the Best Buy exclusive VT20.
