Hiding Your TV Behind a Work of Art

Let’s face it.  That 103” plasma looks great when it’s on, but when there’s nothing happening on the screen, it’s a big patch of black in the middle of your room.  Depending on your setup, that may look just fine, but chances are that real estate could be better covered by a nice piece of art.

The Illusion Razor-2 is a new release from Media Decor that’s designed to fit the dimensions of modern ultra-slim televisions.  It’s compatible with almost all large screen HDTVs from 43 inches on up to 120.  You can even pop on the side-panels to give the frame a more official look.

Operation is simple enough.  When you turn your television off, your chosen artwork will slide into place.  When you turn it on, the art goes back up.  It works just like automatic projector screens, but with the opposite intent.

You can pick up one of Media Decor’s 2,500 pieces of art, have your own printed on, or be sent a blank canvas for you to work on yourself.  Pricing ranges based on size, art and frame selection.  Frames start at $4,610 and range up to $16,490.
