The DTA-70.1 is the first nine channel amp to come out of Integra, and the company claims it to be “the industry's first high-performance nine-channel home theater power amplifier.”  It’s THX Ultra2 certified, which means it’s capable of driving speakers at THX levels or higher.

Integra’s new amp is an all-analog power amplifier.  It’s got a massive 11.7 amp power supply, professional-style balance line inputs and like all Integra amps, it uses the company’s own wide range amplifier technology. It’s got an FTC Dynamic Power specification of 180 Watts into 8 ohms and 400 Watts into 3 ohms.  The DTA-70.1 boasts a signal to noise ratio of 110dB.

Externally, Integra’s new amp is built tough.  It’s got an aluminum front panel and heavy duty construction designed with resonance resistance in mind.   You can pick up the Integra DTA-70.1 amplifier now at a suggested retail price of $1,800.
