It’s only been a few months since the ZAGGbox was first revealed, but there have already been a significant amount of improvements added to the device.

The ZAGGbox, which will ship sometime this summer, is a home media server that can send music, photos and videos out to any device in the house.  It’s also an internet server, allowing you to access your stored content from anywhere in the world.

It was already an Apple friendly device, but the announcement and pending release of the iPad takes things to a new level.  Rather than viewing content on a tiny iPhone screen, users can stream to their iPad over WiFi and watch their movies comfortably on a nice, big, bright screen.

The folks at ZAGGbox know that third party control is important, and they plan to integrate options for Crestron, Control4 and AMX in the near future.  They’ve also said that online streaming services, like Netflix and Vudu, should be hitting the system later on through software updates.
