A new 3D ready DLP projector is available from ViewSonic. It was designed for both corporate and home theater use in mind. The PJD6531w offers support for both NVidia 3D Vision and Texas DLP Link technology.
Though its wide resolution supports all HD formats, the PJD6531w has a native resolution of 1280x800. It’s got a wide array of inputs, including HDMI, VGA and a few other legacy options. It’s got built-in 10 watt speakers too, though you’ll almost certainly want to use external ones if available. It’s efficient too. The Eco Mode will allow a lamp life of up to 6,000 hours. Even better, using the more ecologically friendly viewing mode, you’ll reduce the projector’s noise output too. “As 3D technology becomes more mainstream,” says projector marketing manager Eric Willey, “we have committed to offer our customer several 3D ready projection solutions that provide a dynamic and versatile viewing experience.” The PJD6531w is available now at a price of $799. |
