Thanks to the internet we have access to information from all over the globe, and we can even do business with countries we may never see.  When we can’t do business directly with foreign companies, there’s a good chance that there’s someone out there that specializes in import.

One such importer is Aaudio Imports, which has just announced the availability of the Little Big Phono preamplifier.  The Little Big Phono was created by Einstein of Germany, but it’s now ready for purchase by the US market.

The Little Big Phono is based on another of Einstein’s preamps known as The Turntable’s Choice.  It uses much of the same circuitry but, thanks to a new manufacturing process, it’s far cheaper than its predecessor.    It’s made specifically for vinyl lovers, and features a dual-mono architecture.

Einstein’s Little Big Phono weighs in at five and a half pounds and is shipped in three separate pieces, including an external power supply.  It’s got a signal to noise ratio of 77dB, a gain of 68dB and a total harmonic distortion of less than 0.18 percent. You can pick up the Little Big Phono now from Aaudio Imports at the MSRP of $3,900.
