The Harman Performance AV group (HPAV) sold off the Audioaccess brand earlier this week. A letter to Audioaccess reps from February 8th stated that HPAV would be selling the multi-room specialists off so that they could “focus on our core brands of Mark Levinson, Revel, JBL Synthesis and Lexicon.”

Audioaccess was picked up by ATI, who markets processors, multichannel amps and multi-room distribution amplifiers.  The deal will end up being quite complementary to ATI, helping to secure their role and expand further into multi-room setups.

Like Theta, which was picked up by ATI a few years back, Audioaccess will be run as a separate division.  It’s a quick turnaround too, as product shipment is expected to resume in ten days.  Audioaccess was purchased in full.  The brand was picked up, of course, as were any intellectual properties and inventory held by the company.
