The new “Black Line” from Advance Acoustics is aimed towards those who want the very best out of their high fidelity sound.  The MPP 202 is the first separate element from that line and it’s made to incorporate all the latest elements of hi-fi.

The MPP 202 preamp features a frequency response from 10Hz on up to 70kHz and less than 0.04% distortion.  It’s made for large systems, but boasts a “Boost EQ” function designed to provide much needed bass to smaller speakers. The companion to the MPP 202 is the MAA 402, a power amplifier that uses an oversized toroidal transformer.  It’s got bipolar power transistors and delivers 70 watts of power per channel in Class AB mode.

The first 15 watts of power is done in Class A mode, but when more power is specified, the MAA 402 automatically switches to Class AB mode, where a variable current can pass along the transistors. Both products are available now from authorized retailers.
