The focus in high end audio has always largely centered on indoor speakers.  And why shouldn’t it be?  Moving audio out of doors results in unforeseen variables, interference, and the threat of damage from the elements.

Ambisonic says that outdoor speakers have been neglected for too long, stating that “While indoor speakers have been nuanced into near perfection, outdoor speakers have been judged by how cleverly they could be disguised as rocks.”

The SoniScape Outdoor Loudspeaker system from AmbiSonic is a complete outdoor solution.  It includes not only a variety of full range satellite loudspeakers and tweeters, but an in ground subwoofer to boot. The 10SW sub disguises itself neatly as a garden decoration, and delivers a frequency response of 40Hz to 100Hz from its ten inch speaker.

AmbiSonic will be showing off their full range at CES this year.  Speakers and subs will be set up at the central courtyard of the Courtyard Marriot in Las Vegas to demonstrate how their solution can provide what they call audiophile quality sound over a quarter mile of courtyard.
