Three new wireless ready subwoofers, all part of the Classic Series, were announced by Boston Acoustics today.  The new subs come in Black Walnut and Cherry finishes and in 8, 10 and 12 inch sizes and feature a built-in wireless receiver. These subs, designed to work with the WT50 transmitter from Boston Acoustics, are channel adjustable to avoid interference.  They feature a high-output front-firing ported cabinet and BassTrac circuitry to provide tight and clean bass.

Dubbed the CPS 8Wi, 10Wi and 12Wi respectively, the new subs feature graphite injected woofers and Deep Channel Design technology which Boston Acoustics says ensures dramatic and power woofer performance.   The CPS 8Wi – at $399, the smallest and cheapest sub of the group – has a 200 watt output and boasts responses of 31Hz – 150Hz.  The $499 CPS 10Wi ups the ante with 300 watts and a 28Hz bottom.  The largest of the group, the $599 CPW 12Wi, has a 400 watt output and a range from 25Hz to 150Hz.

The CPS 10Wi is available now, and Boston Acoustics says the others should be out this month.
