Dubbed the M-Vision Cine LED, the newest projector from Digital Projection International is one of several announced by different companies this year featuring LED lighting in lieu of a traditional lamp. The M-Vision Cine LED is capable of producing 600 Lumens and a 10,000:1 contrast, and are recommended for spaces with controlled ambient light and a screen around 8’ wide. DPI assures that the Cine LED produces the same rich colors and contrast as traditional 3-chip DLP displays, and in a smaller, quieter chassis. The Cine LED does not rely on a color wheel, nor does it require lamp changing, as the LED lightsource has an expected 60,000 hour lifespan. Installation flexibility is afforded by a horizontal shift of 30% and an impressive 120% vertical shift.
