With a look different than most BD players on the market, NAD’s newest player – dubbed the Master Series M56 Blu-ray Player – is encased in a steel chassis and die-cast aluminum front panels. The noise isolating design is supported by a quartet of aluminum feet with silicon rubber inserts.
NAD’s M56 is BD Live capable, and features a 1080p resolution delivered at 24 frames per second. Audio is delivered through a 7.1 Linear PCM at 24-bit resolution. Lossless compression formats are supported by the M56, as well as legacy formats from Dolby Digital and DTS. In addition to HDMI output, the M56 also features a 7.1 analog output, enabling users to get a truer home theater experience. NAD takes great care to mention that the M56 has a fast loading time for Blu-ray content – typically only a few seconds – a feature much celebrated in Oppo’s BDP-83 player. The M56 also features an Instant Open feature for quickly ejecting discs. The Master Series M56 Blu-ray Player from NAD is available now at authorized dealers. |
