Logitech is following up on their last Wi-Fi music solution (the Logitech Boom) with the upcoming release of the Squeezebox Radio.  It connects up to your home network and accesses various internet radio services as well as music kept on network drives.  Sound is provided by a ¾” soft dome tweeter and a 3” long throw woofer which Logitech says have minimal distortion.

With a fairly small frame – approximately 5” x 8.5” x 5” – and features such as an auto dimming display and a built in alarm clock, Logitech wants this to be your bedside radio.  They’ve also included a headphone port so that if mom’s got a Squeezebox, dad can still sleep at night.  The squeezebox will be available in the US and Europe this month at an MSRP of $199.
