LG announced this week that they plan to show their 15” OLED display at IFA in Berlin, and that they’ll be selling it as soon as November in Korea.  The increasingly popular consumer electronics company will have the largest OLED TV on the market when they launch this fall.

Little details are available at the moment about LG’s newest display, aside from a non specific launch date.  Pricing information is not yet available, but a price of over $2,000 would not be surprising.   As far as international availability, LG has stated that the OLED will be available outside of Korea in 2010.  Interestingly, one LG executive also made reference to an upcoming 40” OLED which he states will be available “in a not too distant future.”
