In late 2008 Disney announced the introduction of the combo packs for Blu-ray.  These packages would include the Blu-ray edition of the film with bonus materials, a standard DVD copy of the film with some of the bonus materials and a third disc with the Digital Copy of the film.  These packages would allow for those that couldn't afford a Blu-ray setup quite yet to invest in the format without re-buying movies at a later date.

The one problem is that these packages cost a bit more than the normal Blu-ray release, let alone the standard DVD edition.  Still, for those inclined to do so it presents a good option.  Disney has recognized the popularity of the combo pack and has announced that they will continue to release combo packs for Disney films through the end of 2010.

Previous combo pack releases have included: "High School Music 3: Senior Year," "Bolt," "Wall•E," "Race to Witch Mountain," "Bedtime Stories," "Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" and the recently released, "Hannah Montana The Movie."

Upcoming combo packs will include: "Up," "Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure" and "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs."
