Aerosmith has canceled its North American tour according to published reports. The reason for the cancellation is an undisclosed sickness to band singer and frontman, Steven Tyler. The band didn’t elaborate as to what the exact problem was. It was suggested that Tyler’s time off was going to be significant.

Rumors of throat cancer that have circulated on the Internet have been denied by the band. One website, ContactMusic.com, reports that people who have seen Tyler recently said he has laryngitis-like symptoms.
