Marantz Adds Blu-ray Player and AVR
Marantz has added the $599 NR 1501 AV receiver to its lineup.  Also on the slate are two new Profile 2.0 Blu-Ray players.  The NR 1501 features internal decoding of all Blu-Ray sound formats, four HRMI 1.3 inputs and one output, and the ability to transcode analog video to HDMI. 

The UD9004, a universal Blu-Ray/DVD-audio/SACD player, will ship in August for $5,999, and October will see the $2,199 UD8004 universal player following closely behind.   These both feature HDMI 1.3 outputs, Deep Color support, SD/SDHC card slots, and support for DivX HD, JPEG, AVCHD, CD, MP3, WMA and Kodak Picture CDs.  The UD9004 features internal decoding of all Blu-Ray sound formats, upscaling to 1080p resolution, 7.1-channel analog outputs and more.
