iPod Touch Getting Mic & Camera?

Although still anonymous rumors, the whisperings about Apple’s plan for a new iPod Touch with a microphone and camera are getting louder. No official nod from Apple has verified these rumors, but sources say that some of the manufacturing facilities in China have already begun making prototypes of the iPod Touch with camera and mic.

Industry hawks have noted that this combination, along with a Skype account, could eliminate the need for a home phone or a cell phone. The sources claim that the new iPod Touch will go on sale in the next two or three months.
