Several stations broadcasting DTV signals are having trouble reaching their audiences.  Since the DTV transition, stations in Dallas, Philadelphia, New York, Chicago and others have been relying on engineers and other professionals sent by the FCC to address the problem.

There are about 24 stations that are experiencing issues broadcasting their signal due to the DTV transition.  Experts say that channels that are affected appear to be operating in VHF band channels (such as low-band channels 2 to 6).  This area appears to be affected by FM radio waves and other interferences such as fluorescent lamps and atmospheric factors.
