Blu-ray Disc Association Dives into 3D

The Blu-Ray Association has created a task force that will examine how to integrate 3D technology into Blu-Ray more easily. The taskforce is comprised of studio members, CE manufacturers, and IT companies working towards standards for implementing 3D technology into Blu-Ray.

The BDA believes that Blu-Ray is the best product on the market to go 3D. It has already been embraced by consumers for its 1080p high-definition picture, and the space available on a Blu-Ray disc make it ideal for 3D technology beyond the anaglyph style currently being used by some studios.
