The X-Series Walkman from Sony is a video MP3 player that uses the latest in OLED technology. The Walkman features a 3-inch OLED screen with 180-degree viewing angle, a built-in digital noise cancelling technology that works with small microphones in the speakers to adjust based on ambient sounds, and mutliple connectivity options. The X-Series can access the built-in FM tuner, download stores, Slacker Radio, and the user’s own downloaded music for content, and includes support for a wide range of file formats. It has a battery life of 33 hours of music or 9 hours of video, and Wi-FI capabilities. Sony is making is available for preorder, the 16 GB going for $299 and the 32 GB for $399. |
