To celebrate thirty years of expertise from their brand ambassador, Ken Ishiwata, Marantz is releasing a pairing of two of its high-quality audio devices:  the KI Pearl SACD player and integrated amplifier.  There will be just 500 of these commemorative editions produced, and they will sell for approximately $3,800 each.

The CD player features a cabinet that is vibration-dampened, a Xyron loader on the SACD-M10 drive mechanism, Cirrus Logic's CS4398 digital-to-analog conversion, and the latest Hyper-Dynamic Amplifier Modules in the analog area.  The amplifier features a two-stage power amplifier that is fully discrete, and moving magnet/moving coil operated phono stage.  Both products will launch later this month and will ship shortly after.
