SmallHD Debuts a 9-inch 720p Screen

The new startup SmallHD will be shipping the DP1, a 720p resolution field monitor, later this month.  It features a 500:1 contrast ratio, full RGB color control, brightness at 300 nits, a viewing angle of 178 degrees and multiple mounting / connectivity options. 


It comes encased in an anodized aluminum case in either silver or black and boasts an LED-backlit display. Along with the actual monitor, SmallHD includes HDMI and component cables as well as a 12 V power supply.  The preordered DP1 is available now for $749.
