ImageThe Sony Bravia DAV-HDX279W eliminates the need for obtrusive wires with its incorporation of S-AIR and the optional AIR-SA10 technology.  Video is crisp and clear, as the five-disc DVD/CD changer is able to upscale any compatible DVD to 1080p resolution.  Along with the Digital Media Port, which allows for products such as PCs, BlueTooth devices and Walkman products to connect to your home theater, the DAV-HDX279W includes a TDM-iP10 iPod dock for easy access to your portable music collection.  And using the Portable Audio Enhancer, music from these sources is played back in their best quality.

With new HDMI technology, Sony has created a “One Touch Play” system in the Bravia DAV-HDX279W which allows users to use Bravia sync to control a Bravia TV and access content over a single cable with the touch of a single button.  The audio from this HTiB is easy to calibrate within seconds, using the Digital Cinema Auto Calibration and Digital Signal Processing from Sony.  Audio signals are processed using a digital-to-digital method through 24-bit S-Master amplification, which ensures the highest quality with the least loss.
