Western Digital Launches a DVR Expander

WD has announced the availability of its My DVR Expander, a storage device that will allow users to expand their DVR storage by a massive 1 TB. My DVR Expander can be integrated seamlessly with a TiVo Series 3 or TiVo HD DVR.

The 1 TB hard drive is able to store about 140 hours of HD programming. This will allow TiVo users to store a seemingly unlimited amount of HD shows, without having to delete older ones to make room for newer programs. The My DVR expander is priced at $199.99.
