The BeoLab 6000 is a slim loudspeaker from Bang & Olufsen that uses minimalist design philosophy and maximizes on sound in a small package. They can be used to flank a music system like the BeoSound 3200, as subtle but powerful rear speakers in a surround sound configuration, or extra speakers for an HDTV. They are flexible in their placement, as they do not require an additional floor stand or bracket. Made from an anodized and polished aluminum cabinet, the BeoLab 6000 is available in seven colors: black, blue, red, golden, white, dark grey and silver. They are able to deliver a sizeable sound due to active technology in the embedded amplifiers. The bass is brought out to its maximum by using proprietary Active Bass Linearisation. Each BeoLab 6000 is individually calibrated to ensure that they all leave the factory with the same high-quality sound, and the speakers will continuously fine tune its signal source and direct it to the amplifiers for the bass and treble in order to produce the highest-quality audio possible from such a slender form.
