The Sony Bravia KDL-40W5100 is a 40” LCD HDTV with full HD capability (1920 x 1080).  The KDL-40W5100 uses 120Hz technology for motion compensation and is compliant with Energy Star 3.0 requirements.  This 40-inch 1080p HDTV has an Ethernet connection to allow access to online video sources such as Youtube, Hulu and Amazon’s VOD service.  Bravia Widgets are enabled via Yahoo! and provides access to Yahoo! News, Yahoo! Finance and Flickr.  

The LCD TV is certified for DLNA, allowing a connection to your home network to access music and movies.  The Sony 40 inch TV comes with a USB connection to directly view media from a source such as a digital camera or other storage devices.  Sony has included four HDMI input connections on the back of the HDTV as well as component, S-Video and composite connections.  The KDL-40W5100 also includes Sony’s Bravia Sync technology and utilizes the Bravia Engine 3.  The Sony Bravia KDL-40W5100 is currently targeted for a Summer 2009 release.
