ImageThe Sharp AQUOS LC-C4254U television offers a large screen (42\u201d diagonal) in a very thin package with a very small footprint.  Using the slim-line design, Sharp engineers have been able to reduce the television depth by 25%.  In addition, the LCD is amazing for its full conventional HD 1080p (or 1920 x 1080) resolution, the very wide viewing angle (a full 176 degrees both horizontal and vertical), so you can see the screen from anywhere in the room, and the brightness of the backlight.  As with all Sharp televisions, the backlights is very bright (450 cd/m2), so that the colors and pictures are vivid even in bright light, and is guaranteed to last for 60,000 hours of viewing time.  The screen has a 10,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and uses the AQUOS Engine with ASV Technology for improved contrast and more vivid colors, including technology for deeper and more accurate shades of black.  It has tuners for ATSC/QAM/NTSC, for viewing HD picture, digital TV, and analog, and has 3 HDMI inputs, compatible with HD input, and has an RS-232C input for control.  These inputs also allow you to view your photos from your digital camera on the television screen.  The Aquos Link technology is included, which allows for excellent control of Blu-Ray Disc players.  The bottom-mounted speakers are barely visible.
