PBS’ HD On-demand programming service will be available to Comcast subscribers in a move to offer up even more programming to its digital cable customers. Many popular shows from PBS will be available On Demand, including “History Detectives”, “Nova”, “Antiques Roadshow”, and “Masterpiece”.
New episodes of currently running shows will be available On Demand the day after they air, and content will be updated on a weekly basis. The addition of PBS programming comes on the tail of the announcement of Comcast’s 11 billionth On Demand view.
