Neil Young Archives on Blu-ray Coming on June 2

The much-anticipated Neil Young Archives have been confirmed for release on June 2nd. This ten-disc set is Vol. 1 1963 to 1972. It contains a plethora of music, film, behind-the-scenes footage and more from the music icon’s formative years. The set is priced at $399 and contains ten Blu-Ray discs. Check it out on Amazon.

The Blu-Ray edition is recommended by Neil Young. They offer fans a message from the musician, as well as the option to download new content as it becomes available. The music on the Blu-Ray will be in 24-bit/192-kHz format, and the audio for the videos (which includes the film “Journey to the Past”) will feature 5.1 DTS-HD audio. A 236-page handbook in full color will compliment this historic musical archive.
