In a bid to counteract slumping sales in a weak economy, Warner Bros has released 150 titles from its vaults to be available in made-to-order format. Some of these films are from the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s, and are classic pieces of cinema.

Cary Grant’s film “Mr. Lucky” and Warren Beatty and Eva Marie Saint’s film “All Fall Down” are among the first set to be available for purchase.  Rather than produce a set amount of these classic DVDs and risk overstock, Warner Bros is only going to produce a DVD when it is ordered by the customer.

These DVDs will cost $19.95 each plus shipping, and can also be downloaded to a PC.  Every month, Warner Bros plans to release about twenty new titles from their vault to be incorporated into this service.
