The online music service, HDtracks , is giving users the chance to hear 96-kHz/24-bit music for free.  This company offers users the ability to download music tracks, with 320-kbps MP3s, AIFF, and FLAC files; which previously made up its library.

Now that the new 96-kHz/24-bit library is up and running, HDtracks is releasing a sampler album to anyone who wants to download it, in order to give them a taste of true high-def audio.  They also have a standard CD 44/16 version of the same sample album, so users can compare and learn to appreciate the advantages that high definition audio brings to their listening experience.
