Pass Laboratories has unveiled the XP-15 Phono Preamp, its newest phono amplifier for a smooth yet firm vinyl experience.  This preamp is an upgraded version of the innovative company’s Xono Phonostage, and it improves upon its predecessor by offering greater resolution, lower noise levels, and superior bass control all packed into a solid, single chassis.

The XP-15 uses an extremely accurate RIAA equalization curve to offer improved sound quality and longer playback time for its users.  The range of gain is adjustable from 46dB to 76dB, meaning that clarity is experienced in playback of low-output cartridges without the need for a head transformer.

The connections on the XP-15 include MM and MC inputs, RCA and XLR outputs.  It also allows for turntable grounding through a single five-way binding post.
This preamp will be available in March for a suggested retail price of $3,800.
