Sausalito Audio Incorporates Acoustic Lens into Design

Sausalito Audio is releasing a new speaker design with the confidence that they will stand out with innovation. The recording, engineering, inventing and educational background of its founders, CTO Manny LaCarrubba and VP Dave Moulton, is cited as diverse and experimental enough to make this launch successful.

The Acoustic Lens is touted as the best device to flatten out treble beams and reduce floor and ceiling reflections. A spokesperson for Sausalito Audio claims that it will produce a measurable, 180 degree dispersion that the average listener will be able to discern. A soft launch of the Acoustic Lens will begin mid-2009, with a full launch at CEDIA in September.
