Using new technology, NAD has announced a new stereo receiver that acts as “separates” but comes in a single unit – the NAD C725BEE Stereo Receiver. This driver uses several proprietary BEE technologies, such as the Distortion Canceling Circuit, the BEE Clamp and PowerDrive.

The PowerDrive feature allows the driver to cope with virtually all connected speakers by adjusting power to handle a speaker’s impedance. The C 725BEE produces 50 watts of continual power, and can produce short, dynamic bursts of up to 200 watts if necessary – without any harsh grating noises you’d expect with hard clipping distortion, avoided by the inclusion of the Soft Clipping circuit.

Inputs include seven high-level ports on the back panel, and one mini-jack on the front.  The driver uses an IR remote, allows for a second set of speakers with the appropriate connections, and a fluorescent display. The C 725BEE stereo receiver is now available, retailing at a suggested price of $799.
