The combo pack was first successfully tested with the release of “Sleeping Beauty.”  The combo packaging will allow consumers to future-proof their movie collections, much like the HD DVD/DVD combo disc.

Disney will also be releasing many other theatrical and catalog titles on Blu-ray.  Announced theatrical titles include: “High School Musical 3,” “Swing Vote,” and “Beverly Hills Chihuahua.”

Other catalog titles to released on Blu-ray are: “Monsters Inc.,” “Good Will Hunting,” “Sin City,” “Pulp Fiction,” and “Pretty Woman.”

There is no word on the combo pack pricing or detailed specs on the individual Blu-ray releases.
