Cineversum Introduces BlackWing One 1080p Projector

A new entry level LCoS HD projector has hit the market.  Cineversum (who?) has released the BlackWing One Projector.  It features three 0.6-inch LCoS panels with a native resolution of 1920x1080.  The BlackWing One will begin shipping in North America in mid-December.

The projector features 24p capability, two HDMI 1.3 connections, a more than 15000:1 contrast ratio, as well as it pre-calibrated to the D65 and CIE rec 709 color space.  The projector is super quiet, housed in a metallic black ABS plastic chssis, giving it its futuristic look.

The projector joins the already existing BlackWing Two and BlackWing Three 3-Chip LCoS models.  The BlackWing One retails for $6,500, while the Two and Three models retails for $9,995 and $13,500, respectively.

 • 2x HDMI 1.3 inputs, plus one each: VGA, Component, Composite and S-video input
