AppleTV Receives Version 2.3 Update

Apple has released an update for the AppleTV. Version 2.3's biggest addition is that of AirTunes capability. The AppleTV can now stream music via AirTunes to Airport Express speakers and other AppleTVs within the household.

The 2.3 update also adds the ability to use other remotes with the AppleTV. This was a big concern for many users of the product. Now, the AppleTV can learn commands from other remotes to be used in addition with the included remote.

The latest update also improves playlist functionality and includes support for volume control in the Music section.
