D-Box Technologies has announced a partnership with Black Bo, a division of Electronic Arts.  D-Box has long since been the asterisk bonus feature on many DVD and Blu-ray movies.  Now, D-Box motion feature will be incorporated in the upcoming PC release of Need for Speed Undercover.

D-Box and Electronic Arts aim to bring the intense chase and action driving sequences right into the living room.  The motion simulation code is compatible with a variety of motion chairs.

This move is smart, as there are more video gamers that own motion simulators than movie viewers.  However, such a release as Need for Speed Undercover in this economy will probably not pay off.  Still, the concept is intriguing.

Picture this chair, a Logitech G25 wheel/pedals, a PS3, and GT5 Prologue on the
Panasonic 103" plasma. Yikes!
