Avocent announces the MPX1550 HD Wireless Media Extender.  The box has the ability to wirelessly transmit DVI, HDMI, and VGA signals to other hardware.  The MPX1550 also has the ability to transmit audio.  The audio and video sent via the IEEE802.11n standard, guaranteeing the ability to transfer higher bitrates.

The box contains a DVI-D output, analog left and right RCA audio outputs, as well as an optical audio input.  The media extender also offers a wired ethernet connection.  Wirelessly, the extender can transfer up to 110 Mbps.  Previous media extenders could transmit at up to 20 Mbps.

Don't be fooled, this media extender is designed for the professional installer, unless you consider the $1,145 price tag in the consumer range.
