NAD officially gives their T 587 Blu-ray player a December release date.  The player will be fully BD-Live functional.  The player also supports 1080p video at 24 fps for the most fluid film-like image.  And once material is released with Deep Color technology, the player fully supports the feature.

The T 587 supports all the new high-resolution audio formats, including Dolby TrueHD up to 7.1, LPCM, and DTS-HD Master Audio.  The T 587 is one of the first players to offer the ability to internally decode all the audio streams for PCM output via HDMI, as well as complete bitstream support through HDMI.  For those of you that have been missing out DTS-HD due to your player inability to decode internally, this player is the upgrade for you.

However, with a price of $1,499 it may be cheaper to by a new receiver capable of doing the decoding.  NAD's announcement comes shortly after Sherwood signals that they will be postponing the release of their Blu-ray player due to competitive prices.
