The artist thankfully known as Prince (again) is poised to release his first live album ever based on performances of recordings made on his One Night Alone tour. Unlike some past Prince tours in the post Warner Brothers era, this recently completed tour was highly acclaimed for its bare-bones, performance oriented arrangements. There were no bungee cords and pyrotechnics needed for effect when Prince is in the mood to entertain.
No track list was made public but launch.com reports some of the songs played during the loosely defined shows included old favorites and tracks from the more jazzy Rainbow Children. "Adore," "When You Were Mine," "The Everlasting Now," "The Beautiful Ones," "Condition Of The Heart," "Strange Relationship," "Anna Stesia," "Diamonds And Pearls," "Xenophobia," "Take Me With U," "Raspberry Beret," "Joy In Repetition," "Alphabet Street," "Nothing Compares 2 U," "I Wanna B Your Lover," and "Rainbow Children" were all heard at shows nationwide and might make it to the final master of the record.
