Shania Twain’s Come On Over should have been called “Cross On Over” because with over 34,000,000 units sold it makes the Mutt Lange produced the album the highest selling effort by a female artist. In the 5 years since her breakthrough work, Shania married Mutt Lange, had a son, wrote songs for Britney Spears and Michael Bolton (which is always good for the publishing catalog) and now has a new album slated for this fall entitled Up. Strangely, Up is the same title that the also long awaited Peter Gabriel record will be called. The Gabriel record should hit stores shelves Sept. 24, 2002.
