Carl Volk is a very accomplished classical guitarist who studied under the Cuban Guitarist Hector Garcia. Estrada do Sol combines both classical guitar and the samba feel of songwriter Antonio Carlos Jobim into an eclectic collection of beautiful melodies and arrangements.
If you like classical guitar, Brazilian music or are looking for something unique to listen to this record is for you. The recording is very well done with great soundstaging and presence.
