Norah Jones Coming Out On 5.1 DVD-Video

Blue Note Records sought 5.1 Production Services expertise to produce the DVD Norah Jones, Live in New Orleans following her eight Grammy Nominations. Surround mixing, compression and authoring were all performed at 5.1 Production Services studios in West Los Angeles. The goal was to have the DVD available at retail worldwide on shortly following the Grammy Awards.

In addition to music mixes for DVD, 5.1 Production recently completed a variety of surround mixes for Paramount Pictures box office hit, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.

Having established a 24/7 operation with all the resources for mixing, mastering, graphics design, authoring, compression and quality control under one roof, 5.1 Production Services is in the a position to work on different assets simultaneously ensuring a timely delivery of product. The company has recently doubled capacity to serve the growing need for the DVD-Audio format.
