Audio has revamped its product lineup with three new additions – the
Model 1070 AV Receiver ($899), Model 7125 Power Amplifier ($999) and
Model LFM-2 Subfoower ($299). The manufacturer added features and
capabilities it says are just not found on typical mass market
products, especially in Outlaw Audio’s price-range – by selling
exclusively online the company is able to keep prices low.
The Model 1070 is a 7.1-channel AV receiver that features DVI switching, component video cross-conversion and delivers 65 Watts per channel into 8-Ohm loads with all channels driven from 20 to 20,000 Hz. It also includes four A/V analog inputs, three audio-only stereo inputs and eight assignable digital audio inputs.
The Model 7125 is a seven-channel power amplifier that outputs up to 125 Watts per channel – up from its predecessor’s 100 Watts per channel. Each channel features sex discrete output devices and 20,000 microfarads of total filter capacitance and individual heatsinks provide cooling for each amplifier module to eliminate noisy cooling fans.
The last of the new products is the Model LFM-2 subwoofer, intended for users with smaller rooms and modest budgets and developed with the help of Dr. Poh Ser Hsu, noted subwoofer designer. It features an 8-inch down-firing woofer and 150 Watt amplifier to deliver linear bass down to 28Hz at 100 dB SPL. All three components are available now.
