The
A’Diva Ti and the Nucleus Micro Ti are the latest titanium-based
additions to Gallo’s A’Diva and Nucleus product lines. The loudspeakers
are based on a proprietary driver developed for the company’s Nucleus
Reference 3. Anthony Gallo says the speakers were designed to mimic the
Reference 3’s high-end dynamics and transparency in a small, affordable
package.
The Ti Series use Gallo’s patented S2 technology which enhances low frequencies to go beyond conventional satellite speakers with treble extension over 22kHz. The S2 technology also allows for great bass extension and gets 7.5 octaves of linear bandwidth from a single 3” driver that uses a pure titanium diaphragm damped with paper. This combination brings the natural sound qualities of organic fibers and the improved off-axis linearity and treble extension of titanium together. The voice coil has been enlarged to a 1” diameter for increased dynamic range. An oversized Neodymium magnet with video shielding gives it freedom of placement. |
