Los Angeles (Sept. 25)--Sonic Solutions and Verance Corp. announced at the Audio Engineering Society (AES) convention a strategic relationship to advance the use and integration of the Verance watermarking technology in SonicStudio HD.

Sonic Solutions makes some of the most high end professional, digital audio workstations that engineers use to make records. This move is an important political play for Verance to get their controversial watermarking technology into the editing system that many of the best engineers and producers use to make both stereo and 5.1 music on.
