VIZIO Plasma TVs
The VIZIO P42HD, which broke the $2,500 price barrier for HD Plasma in retail this holiday season, is now shipping as the VIZIO P42HDe. The VIZIO P42Hde has a contrast ratio of 5000:1, brightness of 1000 cd/m2, and 60,000 hour lamp life which is projected to last longer than 32 years. The VIZIO P42 and P46 ED Plasmas televisions will retain their position in the Plasma line at $1,899 and $3,299 respectively. Additionally, V, Inc. announced a new VIZIO P50 HD with 1366 x 768 native resolution, 5000:1 contrast ratio and a multitude of video inputs including HDMI. The 50” widescreen HD display which will be made available in the third quarter will have a suggested retail price of $3,299. VIZIO LCD TVs The VIZIO line of LCD TVs gets an update with new 30” and 32” HD models. Offering 1366 x 768 native resolution, 800:1 contrast ratio and 12 ms response time, the 32” widescreen VIZIO L32 HD is designed for fast-moving video. The VIZIO L32 will be available in the first quarter of 2005 at a suggested retail price of $1,899. For consumers who have been waiting to replace their current TV with an affordable high definition LCD, the VIZIO L30 WGU is available for $1,499. The 30" VIZIO L30 has 1280 x 768 native resolution, dual tuner PIP and a polarized screen treatment for enhanced contrast. The popular VIZIO L13, L20 and L30 LCD TVs will remain staples within the VIZIO line up. |
