Sony’s HT-CT100 is a sleek and simple sound bar that produces a surround sound by using a center speaker and a subwoofer. It is perfect for gamers, because it has three HDMI connections to hook up all the latest gaming consoles. By using HDMI Active Intelligence, the HT-CT100 sound bar is able to incorporate multiple HDMI signals into one cable, which makes for a neater cable solution and fewer headaches. It is compatible with devices that output 1080p resolution through an HDMI cable, and portable media devices such as iPhones and iPods, Sony Walkmans, PCs and other devices by using the Digital Media Port.
Audio is transmitted digitally through up to eight channels using LPMC encoding to get the truest game and movie sound possible. The HT-CT100 is able to connect to other Sony devices and control them using a one-touch method that simplifies an entire home theater, using Bravia Sync technology. Rear sound is produced using the front speakers by combining Sony Digital Signal Processing and S-Master Amplifier technology, and portable devices are enhanced through the Portable Audio Enhancer design. This sound bar also supports Dolby Digital, DTS and ProLogic.
